Is anyone using the Crystal Reports 8.5 runtime files with SalesLogix FullClient 5.2.4? I found a posting in the archives Message 328578 where AndrewSmith indicates that he found a package to install them easily on theinstall CD's for version 6. I have not been able to locate this package soI have been trying to do them individually. Can anyone point me to thispackage? I would like to install the 8.5 runtime files with my 5.2.4 FullClients. I have tried copying and registering the following dlls:c:program filessegate softwarereport designer componetcraxdrt.dllc:program filessegate softwareviewersactivexviewercrviewer.dllc:winntcrystalcrxfpdf.dllc:winntcrystalcrxfrtf.dllc:program filessegate softaresharedexportmodeller.dllc:program filessegate softaresharedcrtslv.dllI get an error message when I try to register crxfpdf.dll:Dllname was loaded, but the DllRegisterServer or DllUnregisterServerentry point was not found.Dllname may not be exported, or a corrupted version of Dllname may be inmemory.

Consider using Pview to detect the file and remove it.From what I can tell, I have all of the dependencies are on my windows 2000machine. I would like to export a crystal report to a pdf file from thefull client. It was easy finding the 8 or 8.5 ones becausethey come as an install package with SLX 5 and 6.To find the 9 runtime files you could perhaps have a look on the mainCrystal 9 CD and see if you can isolate them using a custom install.Alternatively you could try the Crystal web site, or maybe see if you cansee what files are created when you install the version 8 ones and just lookfor the same files on a machine running 9?I guess someone else out there will know an easy way how to isolate theversion 9 files you might need though.RegardsAndrew.
